Atlassian, the Australian tech giant based in Sydney, today announced an incredible new HQ to be build at Central station.
“Thee NSW Tech Central Precinct + our new building are precisely the sort of smart, green recovery project Australia ‘s economy needs.,” Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannnon-Brookes tweeted.
The new buildings will be home to thousands of workers and allow quick access to the train line.
The Tech Central precinct, as it will be called, will be home to 25,000 high tech workers, 4,000 of which will be in the ambitious Atlassian building.
The project will generate 2,500 jobs and around $1 billion in local economic activity.
The building itself will be at the cutting edge of architectural innovation and design.
The building will be the tallest hybrid timber building in the world and powered by renewable energy.
