Australia’s Treasurer Josh Frydenberg is getting tested for COVID-19 following a coughing fit in the House of Representatives chamber today.
The Federal Treasurer is going into set isolation, “in an abundance of caution.”
The Treasurer was giving a speech today in the Australian House is Representatives when he began a severe coughing fit.
“Luckily I got some water,” Mr Frydenberg said as he continued to cough.
“My voice has gone now. Sorry,” he said.
“If Frydenberg tests positive, and it’s a big if, will therefore mean PM and many other senior members of Morrison govt will need to urgently tested given the proximity in the chamber today,” Sky News Political reporter Trudy McIntosh observed
