The latest victim of America’s extreme gun violence culture is Australian mum of two, Justine Damond.
The Minneapolis Police Department officer shot dead Justine Damond on Saturday July 15th 2017 local time.
The 40-year-old beautiful and kind mother from Sydney was the victim of yet another policeman shooting innocent civilians in the US.
Her devastated father spoke to Sydney Journalists about his daughters homicide in Minneapolis.
“We only ask that the light of justice shine down on the circumstances of her death,” John Ruszczyk said in Freshwater, Sydney – a leafy suburb not not unlike Justine Damond’s US home – an upper-middle class suburb of one of America’s largest cities.
“Justine our daughter was so special to us, and to so many others,” he said, Tuesday Sydney time. “Justine was a beacon to all of us,” he added.

Police officer Mohamed Noor killed Justine Damond, US media report.
The officer opened fire when Justine approach the police car as it arrived on scene after she had called police to report an assault.
Noor fired into Damond’s stomach and she died a short time later.

We lost the dearest of people and are desperate for information,” Damond’s fiancé, Don Damond told media on Monday.
