Breaking News: New Australian lockdown rules in place.
The Prime Minister has announced a series of extreme new lockdown rules to stop the Covid-19 spread in Australia.
“There’s no rulebook for this but we are in uncharted territory,” Scott Morrison said.
From tomorrow, no more than two people can meet outside the home, unless it includes the people in your household.
Households can be together inside or outside of your home, but otherwise you can be outside with one other person maximum. Rule for 5 people at a wedding and 10 at funerals remains
All Public parks, skate parks, playgrounds, outdoor gyms to be closed tomorrow.
The Prime Minister releases new rules:
You must stay at home except for the following reasons- Shopping for what you need, as infrequently as possible Medical treatment Exercise Education Work/educ if you cannot work/learn from home Advice is people 70+ should stay home and self isolate to maximum extent possible.

Other announcements: Renters cannot be evicted from their property by landlords for the next six months. This applies to both individual rentals as well as commercial.
Brendan Murphy, Australia’s chief medical officer, said the extreme new rules had to be implemented to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Brendan Murphy, the Australian CMO, said: “We have to change the way we, as people, interact with each other. It is very simple.”
He says radical change is needed – don’t leave the house unless you have to.
“We have had a somewhat slowing of the growth in the epidemiology curve, but it is not enough. We have to slow it further,” he said
Anyone over the age of 70 must stay home. Any over the age of 60 with an underlying Illness must stay home.
“It is very simple. We need to all stay home unless we are going to shop, to do personal exercise, to go to medical appointments, or to go to work or study if you can’t work from home,” Brendan Murphy
