NSW is lifting a number of restrictions on gatherings and at hospitality venues.
From Friday October 16, up to 500 seated people will be able to attend outdoor concerts, it was announced.
NSW Treasurer Dominic Perrottet told media, hard hit industries like the arts entertainment and hospitality have been impacted significantly and it was time to get events back on.
“As we head into summer we want to take NSW from being inside to outside,” he said.
The government will also allow outdoor venues, like the Sydney Opera Bar, tow have two square metres of space per person outside – as long as the business has an electronic QR code.
