A Singapore Sydney/Australia travel bubble is being negotiated, reports suggest.

The Australian PM Scott Morrison told a press conference today that Australia is working on negotiations between Singapore, Taiwan and some other nations in Asia about travel bubbles.

Some provinces of China could also be part of the arrangement.

Australia has also been in discussions with Japan and South Korea.

ABC News Foreign Affairs reporter Stephen Dziedzic reported that discussions were continuing.

New Zealand and Australia negotiated a travel bubble agreement recently, with Kiwis allowed back into Australia without the mandatory 2-week quarantine required.
