NSW Election Day 2019 could be wet and stormy, not just for the political parties.

The BOM of NSW is warning people across Sydney to keep an eye on local weather warnings in the coming hours.

A partly cloudy morning for #Sydney on #electionday, with possible showers and storms developing during the afternoon. Keep an eye on the weather as you head out to the polls, the BOM said.

Partly cloudy. Medium (40%) chance of showers in the afternoon and early evening. The chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening, more likely in the west. Light winds becoming north to northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the late afternoon and evening, reaching up to 30 km/h about the coast.
