Sydney Weather : 5C Cold Snap for City
Sydney, Winter has come….
“It’s going to be a chilly morning, with temperatures expected to be on the cooler end of the scale,” Jordan Notara from Bureau of Meteorology NSW said.
Its going to be absolutely f-ing freezing in NSW this weekend.
Sydney will see a minimum overnight of below 5C – the coldest night in Sydney for at last two years, meteorologists are predicting.
The temperatures in mountainous areas will fall as low as – 10C in some places.
“The reason behind the drop is because Sydney will experience a series of fronts, with one coming down on Sydney on Saturday night,” Notara said.
“A high pressure system will also cover the whole state, with clear skies and air measures giving it a cool change.”
Places like Orange will fall to well below freezing temperature.
