The SW bushfire and the Blue Mountains fires are contributing to terrible air quality in Sydney. 5.5 million people in the region are being exposed to poor air, with particles mixing with other pollutants. The particles create major health issues, especially for those who already suffer breathing difficulties.
Air quality index is set to deteriorate overnight.
